New Experiences at The Relais Henley

The Relais Henley is introducing an exclusive set of adventurous new experiences exploring the rural idylls of Henley-on-Thames and surrounding English countryside. With guided horse rides through the rolling Chiltern Hills, exhilarating private flights in a 1930s Tiger Moth and foraging in the grounds of a historic country estate, guests can explore the area of outstanding natural beauty that has inspired artists and writers for centuries. After the day’s activities, guests can retreat to the sanctuary of the 16-th century coaching inn alongside the river Thames.
Guided horse rides take guests on scenic treks across the undulating green hills and woodlands in The Chilterns, the experience can be tailored for both novice and experienced riders. Taking their adventures to new heights, thrill seekers can take a private flight in a classic 1930s single prop aeroplane where the open-air cockpit offers breath-taking birds-eye views of the Oxfordshire landscape.

Stonor Park, home to the Stonor family for 850 years is set in a dramatic sweeping valley in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, following a private tour, guests are invited take to the grounds and try their hand at traditional country pursuits including falconry, archery, and clay pigeon shooting, or forage for wild mushrooms, under the guidance of an expert chef.
Staying at The Relais Henley, guests can unwind in a luxurious room, with interiors inspired by the River Thames and the surrounding landscape. The experience is topped off with an indulgent champagne afternoon tea, served in The Clipper Restaurant, by Mosimann’s.

The 40-room hotel has recently undergone a complete renovation under the vision of international hotelier, Grace Leo to become an upscale, waterside retreat. The Clipper Restaurant, by Mosimann’s London is open all day for relaxed brasserie style dining and The Quarterdeck Bar serves artisan gins and craft beers.
The Relais Henley is offering £190 per night, including breakfast, based on two people sharing a Courtyard Room, plus £38.50 per person for champagne afternoon tea. Activities quoted on request.
